Our process
Initial consultation
We first perform an initial assessment of the damage to your property and gather information so we can outline a clear plan for reconstruction. At this consultation we discuss the timeline, scope of work, our approach to working with your insurance carrier, and the steps required to restore your property. One of our core principles is managing expectations and open communication, so rest assured we will provide you with a realistic timeframe for the project.

Estimate and scope approvals
For many of our projects we end up working with insurance adjusters that we see often due to the specialized nature of the restoration industry. Due to our reputation and experience we often reach scope and cost agreements in a relatively short period of time, ensuring we can move your claim forward without delays. When necessary, we work through scope negotiation to ensure your property is properly restored to its pre-loss condition.

Project management
Once a contract is executed, a dedicated superintendent is assigned to your project. At all times we have a minimum of three team members involved in every project. This includes your project manager, your superintendent, and our production manager. This structure of varying roles allows our team to manage your project from different levels ensuring we have people focusing on the day-to-day details, the one month look ahead, and the finished product simultaneously. One of the biggest factors in a successful project comes down to communication, both with our clients and our team. By focusing on great communication, our clients can return to focusing on other priorities while having peace of mind their property is in good hands.
- Pre-construction – Our team conducts a pre-construction meeting to review the project with our client and discuss the overall scope, questions, any changes, general timeframes, and next steps for our client.
- Demolition & design – This process typically includes environmental testing for items such as asbestos, depending on results our team completes the required demolition and/or asbestos abatement. Once the structure is exposed, we carry out joint inspections with our structural engineers to start the repair plan process and collaborate on the scope while keeping the insurance carrier informed of pending code corrections to the property. Once plans are completed and approved by the project team they are submitted for permits.
- Material selection process – Due to the abrupt nature of major loss claims, this process can often be overwhelming to our clients. We organize the selections into smaller groups following a critical path which allows our clients the time needed to work through selections. We follow a critical path specific to your project type to ensure there are no delays in ordering materials to maintain our timeline and project completion goals.
- Construction management – Full construction management services on all our project using a team format. Various team members monitor project milestones to ensure we adhere to timelines while production teams manage daily schedules and quality standards. Our project teams stay in constant communication to ensure a successful project for everyone involved.

Project completion and close out
- Completion – Performing a final walkthrough to confirm all punch list items and details of the repairs completed are as contracted.
- Final payment release – We provide close out documents to your insurance carrier for release of any final payments owed for the repairs.
- Post repairs – Alongside our warranty, we often maintain relationships with our clients and are available for questions that may arise or provide free consultation on routine maintenance, vendor referrals, and anything else they may need.
